Research and teaching focus primarily on resource governance and politics on the borders of the United States and Mexico, Mexico and Latin America.

Doctor in Social Sciences with a specialty in Political Science from FLACSO. Member of the National System of Researchers of Mexico Level I. His lines of research focus on
the analysis and evaluation of public policies, democracy, and public security.
Dr. David E. Vazquez Salguero

Archeologist, Master and Doctor in History from UNAM'a School of Philosophy and Letters. Research professor of COLSAN's History Program. Member of the System
National Researchers of Mexico Level 1. His lines of research focus on the territory, preservation of archives, cultural heritage, and history of institutions.
