This project represents the opportunity to save a priceless, unique collection of water resource
documents on the Navajo Nation that is needed for its cultural significance and the scientific
knowledge it contains, to implement water resource projects for the health and economic well-
being of the people of the Navajo Nation.
As a member of the Navajo Nation Department of Water Resources Library Preservation Project
(NNDWRLPP), the intern will document item level bibliographic and condition-focused
information, while managing multiple spreadsheets, in preparation for digitization outsourcing.
The captured information will be included as metadata during the digitization process and
applied to the digital object for future access. Knowledge River Students are strongly
encouraged to apply!
