Kamila Mateeva, LL.M, Ph.D is an Associate Professor of Law and Director of the LL.M program at the American University of Central Asia in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic where she teaches several courses, including Theory of Law, Public International Law. Recent research projects were undertaken to co-draft a handbook on Rule of Law for UNDP, and to co-draft a report “Country Assessment for the Kyrgyz Republic: Fair Trial Standards and Meaning in Local Context” for USAID.
Kamila has LL.B. degree from the Law Program of the American University of Central Asia, Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, LLM degree from Indiana University of School of Law in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. She holds a PhD from National Academy of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
