International Advisory Board Member Venkatesh Nayak addresses human rights in Kashmir and Jammu

In the Deccan Herald, U Arizona Human Rights Practice International Advisory Board Member Venkatesh Nayak recently addressed the human rights situation in contested Kashmir and Jammu in South Asia. 

"What happens to a pending court case after the litigant dies? According to the Supreme Court, it will not abate if the ‘right to sue’ survives the deceased. Legal heirs may continue the proceedings. But what happens to pending cases when the adjudicated?"
